Behavioural Consultations
Undesirable behaviours can arise for a number of reasons and modification is best corrected as early as possible before they escalate or form a habit?
Does your dog have an annoying habit? Are they reactive to other dogs or people? Do they show aggression when given food, a toy, or a tasty treat?
Our consultations take place in your home and typically lasts for 3-4 hours. We take a thorough look into the symptoms, history, and root cause of your dogs' problem behaviour(s). A bespoke behavioural modification plan is created to address those issue(s), and you will receive a full report and ongoing support.
Available in two packages.
In most cases we advise a full behaviour consultation as this considers every aspect of your and your dogs' life, relationship, nutrition, history, daily exercise and much more. A full consultation takes place at your home in a session that typically lasts 3-4 hours. Having looked at the full history of your dog, your relationship with your dog and the root cause of the symptoms that are being displayed, we will introduce the primary behaviour modification method.
I will leave you with any handouts I think beneficial to you and will formulate a full behaviour modification programme and report, which will be sent to you after my visit. A full behaviour consultation is charged at £380.
For some lesser behavioural issues, we offer a short behaviour consultation which takes place at your home and typically lasts 1-2 hours. I ask that you fill out the same history questionnaire as needed in a full behaviour consultation but we'll spend less time going over this when I am with you.
After my initial assessment we will introduce the primary method of behaviour modification for your dog. I will again, leave you with any handouts I think beneficial to you but don't send a full report and programme - you are more than welcome to take notes during our consultation however. Our short behavioural consultations are charged at £180.
With both options I welcome regular updates and offer ongoing support.
